Polymarket odds vs AI research: when the crowd mid is not the fair probability
Search interest in Polymarket is about prices: what is YES trading at, and how fast did it move. That is useful. It is not the same as asking whether 32% is a calibrated probability for the event the contract actually settles on.

Where the mid can lie
Thin books, narrative double-counting, and resolution wording that does not match the headline question. An event can “happen in the world” and still resolve NO if the contract text is stricter.
