Run the $100k paper desk in 12 minutes — then stop
This path is for portfolio rehearsal, not a tip. You leave with open paper lots and a marked equity number. You do not leave with a live order.
Step 1
Open Paper $100k on the desk
Register if needed, then go to /dashboard?entry=paper. Confirm starting virtual cash is $100,000 and there are no open lots (or reset if you are starting clean).
Step 2
Pick master, asset class, and pool
Choose a timing master (for example William O’Neil). Equity pools: liquid mega-cap, growth, or core ETFs. Crypto: majors only, price/volume rules. Set max open positions (2–6).
Step 3
Run strategy → book to $100k
The desk screens the pool, attaches live marks, and books equal-weight longs into free slots. Read the screen table and fill list. Skip names you do not understand.
Step 4
Sync market and read dollars
Tap Sync market. Equity, cash, return %, and unrealized P&L update from research marks. Picture the drawdown on your real account size — not the virtual $100k alone.
Step 5
Stop before the broker
Write one kill-condition for the rule you booked. Do not size a live trade from a green paper curve. Optional: compile the same master on Quant Lab for a single-ticker Python tape.
Register and open Paper $100k
Create an account, book one master pool into virtual cash, and sync marks. Research simulation — not a trade ticket.
